Best Bets are a power-pop group from Rangiora, Canterbury, New Zealand. Drawing on the classic melodic punch of 1990s power-pop and indie rock, the band have released a steady stream of singles, EPs, and albums through Melted Ice Cream and Meritorio Records.
After early self-released digital singles, the band released their debut cassette EP Life Under The Big Top on Melted Ice Cream in 2018. Their first vinyl LP On An Unhistoric Night followed in 2022 on Meritorio Records and Melted Ice Cream, produced by Brian Feary. The Hollow Husk of Feeling appeared in 2024 on the same labels.
