Biography
Alaska! was an indie folk project from Auckland, New Zealand. The band released their debut album FLAWS in 2012, a collection of delicate, intimate folk songs that drew on confessional songwriting and sparse acoustic arrangements. The project was active in Auckland’s early 2010s independent music scene.
The project later evolved into Farah Loux, continuing in an indie folk direction while developing a fuller sound. As Farah Loux, the project maintained connections to the Auckland independent music community.
