Opposite Sex are a Dunedin indie pop group formed around 2010. The band blends post-punk and jangle pop influences with a dry, melodic sensibility rooted in the Dunedin Sound tradition.
The group released their self-titled debut LP on Fishrider Records in 2011, followed by the CD album Hamlet in 2015. Their third album High Drama appeared in 2021 on Spik & Span.
