Biography
High School aged indie-pop duo from Christchurch, formed in 2009 after the dissolution of former group Fuzzy Fuzzmin. Recorded an EP of original songs cribbed put together by Steven Park on guitar, utilising ‘sad poetry’ from vocalist Georgia Munn’s notebook.
Being an all-ages group and with a folky style, they played a variety of shows in non-typical places:
We played a 60th for me and Bryn’s former intermediate school dance troupe teacher. And a baby shower once, and a Halloween costume party where we were the only ones who actually dressed up. I was a deer and Steven was Harry Potter. Plus the fantastic array of Red Panda and Playskool and Otautahi Social Club stuff, Linwood Lyfe Festival one year (2009).
Georgia Munn
Steven Park went on to become a celebrated clothing designer, visual artist, and craftsman, with shows around New Zealand and even in Europe – he’s often produced ambient music for his videos and shows under the 6×4 banner. Georgia Munn is a freelance writer now residing in Wellington.
