Biography
3-Piece power-rock outfit based around the songs of Brian Feary (guitar / vocals). Formed some time around August 2009, with the intention of entering the annual RDU-sponsored ‘Round-up’ band competition at the Dux de Lux.
The initial line-up of Feary with Mike Ellis (drums) and Jono Press (bass) gave way gradually as members moved north and away from the Christchurch Earthquakes.
Though Feary started his excellent Christchurch indie label Melted Ice Cream (with Salad Boys guitarist Joe Sampson) around the time Magic Eye formed, the group never actually released any recordings.
