Hannah Everingham

Exceptional Christchurch-born (now NYC based) singer-songwriter Hannah Everingham is just about to release her 2nd album on local label Leather Jacket Records.

Here’s a short bio i’ve put together so far, including a video link for new single ‘Giving up the Dog’, filmed at the Botanic Gardens.

Jetset Lounge / Subway

Large old school hotel with upstairs lodging, a pokie room, kitchen and a large live music bar that’s went through quite a few changes between the early 1980’s and when it was closed, just prior to the Christchurch Earthquakes.

Throw

Christchurch-based shoegazey indie-rock group that started out as a studio project but became a fairly successful touring group with 2 albums and an EP on band member Rob Mayes Failsafe Recordings.

The Stereo Bus

The pop outgrowth of Ex-Christchurch song-writer Dave Yetton (Ex Jean-Paul Sartre Experience), who’s backing band has included a couple generations of well-known kiwi performers, including Pluto’s rhythm section at one point.
