The Hasselhoff Experiment

possibly the loudest 2-man band on earth, the hassellhoff experiment we’re raw and dangerous with just a guitar and drums format (well before the white stripes hit out shores). andrew tolley (guitar / vocals – the head of the kato label) and brendan moran (drums) started out with self-released debut on tolley’s fine rock’n’roll imprint (vinyl only!), but pretty soon flying nun had snapped them up, reissueing the debut and eventually putting out the bands two follow-ups.
with a brilliant video for third album single ‘drag-racer’ by the back of the y / deja voodoo boys, the hasselhoff experiment were making great inroads – when. unfortunately just like morans’ other band (the short-lived but excellent subliminals) didn’t last, the duo splitting ways after the release of ‘out of the sandpit and onto the drive’.
